Fiero Code

We are excited to offer Fiero Code, a new learn-to-code software! Through this web-based educational software, kids will learn computer programming skills through a series of tutorials and projects. They will work towards building websites, video games, phone apps, animations and more, all the while, learning how to become better problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Educator Card

The Willoughby-Eastlake Educator Card is intended to help teachers and other educators make full use of the library’s resources without using their personal card. The Educator Card is available to anyone who is a Teacher, Home School Educator, or Day Care Provider.

Benefits of your educator card

  • A maximum of 75 holdable items may be borrowed at one time. Non-holdable items may not be checked out (video games, new release movies, hotspots, etc.).
  • You get to keep your card.
  • You may renew WEPL items 3 times.
  • WEPL items have an extended 6 week loan period.
  • You may request materials from other CLEVNET libraries. (These items follow their owning libraries’ circulation policies including fine and loan period policies.)
  • No overdue fines for WEPL items.
  • A replacement fee is charged for lost or damaged materials.
  • You must present a current photo I.D. in order to apply for the card.
  • The educator card is required to check out materials.
  • Cardholders are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card.

Class Visit & Field Trip

Interested in a visit from a librarian? Want to bring your group to a library for a tour and more? Our staff can provide storytimes, book talks, library resource talks, give away tables, media literacy and more.

Toy Library

The WE Play Toy Library is designed to serve all families.
The collection is comprised of many award-winning toys for all ages. From LEGO Duplo and Magformers to puzzles and plush toys, there is something for everyone.

This dynamic, PreK–12 reading service strives to deepen students’ connections to the books they are reading with lesson plans and teacher tools that include 340,000+ engaging video, audio, and vetted online resources. This is an incredible service for adding diversity and inclusion into your lessons. *Must have a WEPL card to access from outside the Library.

Scholastic Teachables

Printable activities for for any subject: math, science, reading comprehension, STEM, writing, and beyond. Download printable lesson plans, reading passages, games and puzzles, clip art, bulletin board ideas, and skills sheets for kids in any grade. Teacher-created lesson plans and activity sheets.
