You can join Reading Challenges throughout the year using Beanstack! Beanstack allows you to track what you read and share reviews with other patrons. Children can join our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten or 500 Books Before Middle School Challenges to earn a free book! Seasonal Challenges are also available!
What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is our web-based reading challenge program. It allows you to track your reading, discover Library events, and see reviews from other library patrons!
Download the Beanstack App from your device’s app store. select Register as an Individual or Family.
Select available challenges for each reader in your family and then start logging reading and activities!

1000 Books before Kindergarten
Reading to your child is the most important thing you can do to help them become a life-long reader. 1000 Books before Kindergarten encourages this by offering a fun and easy way to track your reading. New for 2026, the W-E Library Boosters have sponsored this program and now your children will receive new prizes to further support their early literacy skill development. 500 Books before Middle School
Read 500 Books before starting Middle School, log your reading in Beanstack, and earn a new set of badges and a book!
