Discovery Passes

Check out your community by borrowing memberships from the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library Discovery Pass Collection available only at the Willoughby Library! Passes are for single locations listed below. This is not an all-in-one pass.

Passes are available only at the Willoughby Library. The number of passes for each attraction is limited. Call 440-942-3200 to inquire about availability.

Discovery Pass Policies 

  • Due to high demand, there is a checkout limit of one pass per household at a time. 
  • Passes are available to borrow at the Willoughby Library on a first-come, first served basis. 
  • Passes are available for use by current WEPL library cardholders in good standing, ages 18 and older. 
  • Passes are loaned for a one-week loan period with no renewal. 
  • No holds are allowed on library passes. 
  • Overdue fees will be charged for passes not returned by their due date at the rate of $5.00 per day. 
  • Passes must be returned to a person at the Willoughby Library. Do not return passes in the book drop. 
  • If your museum pass is lost, stolen or damaged, you will be held responsible for all applicable replacement costs and processing fees–up to $250, plus any accrued late return fees. 

Individual Attraction Information 

Please check the operating days/hours for the institution before making plans. 

  • The Akron Art Museum: Admission for 2 adults and any children under 18 living at the same address. 
  • Akron Zoo: Admission for 2 adults, 4 kids and free parking. Not valid for special events. Not reciprocal to other zoos. 
  • The Cleveland Museum of Art: Free admission to paid exhibitions for 2 adults and children under 18 in the same household (may require reservations). Reserve exhibition tickets on site at the museum or call the ticket center at (216) 421-7350 to reserve them in advance. 10% discount to CMA cafe, 15% discount to CMA store, half price parking at CMA. 
  • The Cleveland Museum of Natural History: Admission for up to 2 adults and 6 children. Reduced parking, 10% discount at cafe and store. Free admission to Shafran Planetarium. Not valid for special events. Museum is closed on Mondays. 
  • Holden Forests and Gardens: Admission for up to 6 at Holden Arboretum or the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Both locations are closed on Monday. $7 member parking. Not valid for special events. 
  • Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens: Free self-guided tours for up to 2 adults and 7 youths (0-17 years old) during regular admission hours from April 1-November 25. Not valid for special events. Includes free on-site parking.  
  • Western Reserve Historical Society: Admission for 2 adults and children under 18 in the same household to all WRHS sites across Northeast Ohio including The Cleveland History Center Museum, Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, and Hale Farm & Village.
