Reading Challenges
You can join Reading Challenges throughout the year using Beanstack! Beanstack allows you to track what you read and share reviews with other patrons. Children can join our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten or 500 Books Before Middle School Challenges to earn a free book! Seasonal Challenges are also available!

Summer Reading is coming! Preregistration begins May 26. This year’s Challenge runs from June 2-July 26! Check back here for more information!
What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is our web-based reading challenge program. It allows you to track your reading, discover Library events, and see reviews from other library patrons!
Download the Beanstack App from your device’s app store. select Register as an Individual or Family.
Select available challenges for each reader in your family and then start logging reading and activities!
Ongoing Reading Challenges
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Enjoy reading 1,000 books with your little ones! Log reading and earn badges all along the way. Your child can earn a free book of their choice.
500 Books before Middle School
Read 500 Books before starting Middle School, log your reading in Beanstack, and earn a new set of badges and a book!
