Greetings, gamers!
In mid-December, we got Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4! Rated Everyone 10+, it (as the name implies) is a fighting game starring a cast of Nickelodeon characters that you take control of and brawl to your heart’s content through various modes such as a campaign or versus your friends. I looked up the list of characters and I was pleasantly surprised to see a wide variety of characters. The fact that the Angry Beavers as a tag team is super cool. However, most importantly- Nigel Thornberry is in this game?! Smashing!

We recently received our copies of Trolls : Remix rescue for the Switch and PlayStation 4! Although some children have compared me to Poppy (I guess that’s one good thing about having ever-changing hair colors), I have not seen or played any of the recent Trolls franchise releases. The game (rated E for Everyone) lets you play as a customizable Troll character and (alone or with friends) explore the plot and mini games to rescue Troll Kingdom. Overall it looks like a fun premise, and I think the ability for the couch co-op would be a great experience for families to have together.

Lastly, we also got Bluey : The Videogame for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (and we will be getting it for the Nintendo Switch, so keep your eyes open for that). It is rated E for Everyone and players control Bluey and friends to collect forgotten treasure. One of my favorite things about borrowing games from the library is that it lets people test out games before deciding whether they want to buy them themselves. This game seems like one of the better ones to “try before you buy”.
