These blog posts give our community a chance to better know their friendly Willoughby-Eastlake Library employees. Meet Sarah Bolton, Circulation Clerk at Willoughby Library.
Why do you love libraries? What is your earliest library memory?
Libraries offers tons of resources for everyone of every age and should be utilized! My earliest memory is playing on the computers after school waiting to hang out with a friend, listening to music. Good early 2000’s memories.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read & go for walks!
What is your favorite quote, passage, or piece of advice, and where did you read or receive it?
“Hello to Here.” This quote came from a Shauna Niequist book. The meaning behind it is simple: clear your mind of it wandering wherever it is, stop worrying, and say hello to the present and live in it.

What is a library “hidden treasure” that you want patrons to know about or know more about?
The children’s programs! They are so fun and educational, I wish I got to experience them when I was younger. These librarians put SO much into the programs and it is worth it.

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy. It sounds like it might be morbid based off the title, but it is another great story about eating disorders and recovery and making others aware. Honestly, she’s very funny about it all and I laughed out loud quite a few times reading it.
