Willowick and Willoughby Renovations Report
We are excited to report that the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is about to begin significant renovations at the Willowick Public Library and the Willoughby Public Library. The Library’s Board of Trustees has approved the spending of over $2 million from the existing Capital Project fund to modernize, renovate, and improve both Libraries.
The Library Board will be asking for bids on the construction phase of the renovations in October. In the meantime, Library staff will begin to prepare both Libraries for the construction. We will be using the Library’s website, our Facebook page, and other forms of communication to keep our patrons and communities informed about the renovation process.
This week will see the first part of the preparation at the Willoughby Library. We will be relocating the public computers from the upper level of the Library to a temporary site in the Penfield Room on the lower level. As always, Library staff will be prepared to direct patrons to the computers and to assist them with any questions that they might have.
As the preparation for and the eventual construction progresses, we will use this Renovations Report to share news about the process. In the meantime, please call (440-943-2203, Ext. 100) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) Rick Werner if you have questions or need additional information.
We are grateful to our communities for their strong support of all four of our Libraries. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent customer service as we make our way through the renovation process.
