Searching for eMedia using the Catalog

The Clevnet catalog allows you to search for emedia (ebooks, eAudiobooks, & hoopla) and physical materials in the same interface. You can download emedia titles without leaving the catalog.

The keyword search can be limited by the drop box options in the Search Bar. For example, results can be limited to the “Digital Catalog” or “E-books online”.

Ebook Formats in Enterprise Catalog

If you are interested in reading an ebook immediately in the web browser, we recommend selecting the HTML format.  This does not require any additional software or user credentials. If you have  a Kindle device, we recommend selecting the Kindle format.  When selecting the Kindle format, you will be redirected to the Amazon website.  You will be required to sign in to your Amazon account and then select the device you would like the book delivered to.  The Adobe Digital Editions format will only work if you have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer and have an Adobe ID.  If accessing ebooks through the catalog, this format is not recommended.

You can continue to access digital books through the site and the Ovedrive app. The catalog is only a new avenue for accessing our digital content.

Additionally, you are able to view your digital checkouts in addition to your physical checkouts under the Checkouts section in My Account.
