2023 WEPL Winter Reading Challenge

by Amanda Schoen

If you liked our 10 to Try Reading Challenge last year, sign up for our 2023 WEPL Winter Reading Challenge! Participants have until March 15, 2023 to read 10 books from 50 categories selected by WEPL librarians.  This challenge is not for the faint of heart. Prove to your friends that you are a super reader, and we will reward you with WEPL swag and an entry to win a $25 gift card. Will you read a book about Ohio, a book published the year you were born, a self-published book: the opportunities are endless. Get out of your comfort zone and read many new books this year!

The logistics: Log your reading using our Beanstack website or app. Beanstack was used for summer reading, so if you have an account already, you are good to go. If you are unfamiliar on how to use this tool, please call one of our branches for instructions. After you’ve completed the challenge, go to your local branch to get your WEPL swag. It’s that simple! We’ll notify you at the end of the year if you’ve won the grand prize.

For detailed instructions on how to use Beanstack, please see this handout.
