2021 Adult Reading Challenge: 10 to Try

by Amanda Schoen

As we move into spring, we at WEPL are at the advent of a new reading journey to challenge our biggest readers. If you are a diehard reader, try the 2021 WEPL 10 to Try challenge. Participants have until December 15, 2021 to read 10 books from 50 categories selected by WEPL librarians.  This challenge is not for the faint of heart. Prove to your friends that you are a super reader, and we will reward you with WEPL swag and an entry to win a $25 Amazon gift card. Will you read a book about Ohio, a book published the year you were born, a self-published book: the opportunities are endless. Get out of your comfort zone and read many new books this year!

The logistics: Log your reading using our Beanstack website or by grabbing a participation sheet from the reference desk at your local branch. Beanstack was used last year for summer reading. If you are unfamiliar on how to use this tool, please call one of our branches for instructions. After you’ve completed the challenge, go to your local branch to get your WEPL swag. It’s that simple! We’ll notify you at the end of the year if you’ve won the grand prize.

For detailed instructions on how to use Beanstack, please see this handout.
