The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is a school district library that serves seven communities in Lake County. The library consists of four full-service libraries.
Hours for Eastlake, Willoughby and Willowick
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M.
- Friday & Saturday: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
- Sunday: 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Hours for Willoughby Hills Public Library:
- Monday – Thursday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

More About Our Locations
Eastlake Public Library houses a special collection titled Great Lakes Region. The emphasis in the collection is on pleasure boating, recreational areas, water sports, light houses, repair manuals, flora and fauna. This collection includes books, magazines and videos. This location also boasts the S.S. Storytime, a ship that children enjoy stories and programs.
The Willoughby location houses three special collections in business, law, and visual arts. Also, Willoughby offers specialized reference materials, including the News Herald from 1879 to the present on Microfilm. The Willoughby Historical Society is also located at this location.
The Willowick Branch specializes in career, continuing education, and medicine. Due to flooding at the Willowick Library in 2013, our administrative offices have moved to a temporary location in Willoughby.
The Willoughby Hills Public Library is located in the Community Center and houses the most current and popular selections of fiction, non-fiction, movies and music.
*The Willoughby, Eastlake, & Willowick libraries are open from 1:00 – 5:00 on Sundays in October through April.
