Talking Books
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is the local depository for Talking Book Machines and related equipment. Talking Book Machines are specialized audiocassette players that are provided for individuals that are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical, or reading disabilities – whether permanent or temporary. A physician, social worker, nurse, therapist or other qualified person must certify applicants. Items are delivered free of charge via the mail. A downloadable form, located at the bottom of this page, can be printed and brought to any one of our location, though they are also available at any Information Desk.

Bi-Folkal Kits
The library circulates Bi-Folkal Kits, which are multimedia theme based kits that encourage the sharing of experiences while stimulating the memory and enhancing communications skills. Each kit includes music cassettes, slides, 25 booklets of sing-along songs, photographs, poetry, prose, and a manual that gives step-by-step programming instructions. Bi-Folkal Kits can be used by groups at senior centers, nursing homes, schools, or by individuals. Call Michelle Hudson at 440.944.6900 ext. 113.
